learn from the natives

i found this super cool interesting website called golivewire.com. it's a forum where most college students from us, canada, australia, uk and some other english capital countries around the globe congregate (or hang out if you wanna say it that way). although i'm not certain if they're all college students. you could actually learn from them on how native speaks. all their expressions and vernacular terms. feels like you're part of a classroom or just hanging out with them.

so i changed my location to tennessee, united states because they seem to have this stereotype to countries in third world. basically you could see where's a person posting from -- it's indicated below their names. they tend  not to reply on posts if they see you're from countries in southeast asia or africa, i don't know.

i learned some jargon phrases from them. check this out:
1. 'pull the shit/crap' means trying to get away with something.
2. 'pull the crap on someone' means doing injustice against somebody. could be in a form of trickery.
so if i say, f*ck you dude, don't pull  some shit on me, it means don't try to mess around with me. or it
could be in sense that don't lie to me.
3. 'beat the crap' literally means in a form of physical beating.

i really like learning about these stuffs. you could try visiting it too.

more: sometimes i'm oblivious of what they're talking about. there are some convos you don't get to understand in one reading, pretty much of a drawback from not being a native.
